interview to ade y:
zuzpect: where are you from? and where do you get this ideas?
ade: I'm a photographer based in Sweden and I started to work with these ideas from the beginning of 2014 through frustration of how the western media objectifies the human body.
zuzpect: as an artist how would you describe your work?
ade: my work attempts to capture those little moments of social oppression, humour, isolation, anxiety and depression. the images depict imbalances evident in contemporary society today by directly addressing issues of gender, normative behaviour and how society forces us to choose one path or direction.
zuzpect: if you can describe your style of photos in one word what would it be?
ade: 1 word? ... Neutrality
zuzpect: do you feel that your style as a photographer is the erotic kind of photography?
ade:do not view my work as erotic but many people have described interpreting eroticism within the images. Eroticism is never at the root of my ideas when conceptualising and composing my work.
